Statement

I like to work in oils and my joyful and colourful paintings reflect my feelings about the world of beauty that I sees around me. Working rapidly to catch the light and colour that I observe, I am always excited by my subject matter, be it a landscape, an interior, a garden or a still life in my studio. I especially love painting in India, such a treasure of colour. Although much of my work is figurative, I also enjoy experimenting in a more abstract format.
