I am a Scottish artist whose paintings identify strongly with Scotland, its people and its coastal views. 

Painting mainly in oils, I like to layer the paint gradually to build up vibrancy and depth to each piece. While also using eye catching perspectives and techniques to capture an emotion within the painting. 

As a framer I have complete control over the style and feel of every painting. After training to professionally frame I now enjoy the process of selecting the right style of frames to ensure my paintings are correctly represented and enhanced. 

I am always looking to develop my style and look forward to many more years painting and creating artwork for people to enjoy.

Emma grew up in Troon where she was heavily influenced by the landscape surrounding her, painting many scenes of the golf courses and seascapes looking out towards Arran. Having began her art career painting landscapes and seascapes she then became inspired by the movement and architecture of the cities. Enjoying the busy scenes they presented and capturing the movement of people going about their daily life.

Emma is a member of the Society of Scottish Artists. While also being represented in Galleries and exhibiting at various locations in the UK throughout the year. Spending almost every day painting or out exploring trying to find a landscape that inspires her she is dedicated to producing work that represents her and the views that evoke an emotion to her.

As an artist Emma continually seeks to develop her style and create captivating art with a distinctive mood and energy.
