This is a self portrait on my 42nd birthday. There is a Chinese saying, 'No self-doubt at age 40.' Turning 42, and facing new challenges in life, I still don't feel like the grownup I should be. This painting is my attempt to capture the moment of trying to accept changes, keeping calm, and carrying on.
