Part of a series of work about woman's position in our world where decisions made by leaders ignore the collateral damage . Women pick up the pieces of these decisions made by others . For them giving birth , nourishing children , save ing them from unimaginable harm is their nearly impossible daily task . From the beginning of the ' civilised ' world through The War in Syria through to war between Israel and Hamas . Did you notice how clean the saucepans are with the crowds waiting for food handouts in Gaza ? Guess who cleaned those saucepans probably with their hands and sand from the ground ?
